Inspired by the traditional Spanish sausage, made from our very own free range rare breed pigs and our unique blend of Stonehouse spices. Not too much heat but plenty of depth of flavour. Made to be eaten as is, but can be used for cooking. As there are pieces of hand cut lean meat and fat in our Chorizo we’d recommend thinly slicing and crumbling through a dish just before serving. If using for a casserole type dish, crumble and fry at the start to release all the delicious flavours.

“What a beautiful glisten of fat and the depth of colour from the paprika is gorgeous too. The warmth from the paprika is well balanced, the textures from the lean muscle and diced back have both bite and tenderness. The red wine has added tenderness to the meat and a delicate back note of flavour, and the smoked aspect is bang on in terms of its delivery to the palate.”

“Deep terracotta, very appealing slices. Modest porky tang on the nose. Rich flavour, full of umami. The spice from the paprika is well judged and brings a hugely welcome warmth. Balanced. Garlic and red wine are present but in a suitably supporting role.”
